Under Hood Services

Under Hood Services

There is a lot happening under the hood of your vehicle, and every system contributes to a healthy engine that runs smoothly.

Our under hood services include basic preventive maintenance like oil changes and tune-ups, transmission fluid checks and services, engine computer scans, inspection for belts and hoses, cooling system checks, air conditioning and heating, power steering, battery, belts, and more.

The Town Center Automotive team is trained to identify problems in these areas and provide the quickest, most efficient service to get your car back in top condition so you can get back out on the road as soon as possible.

Bring In Your Car Today

Whether it’s bringing your car in for preventive under the hood services, or at the first sign of potential trouble, keeping tabs on your car and recognizing issues before they become major problems can keep your car running longer and better, avoiding expensive repairs that can put your car out of commission for an extended period of time.

Oil changes and tune-ups should be completed at regular intervals as recommended by your car manufacturer. Usually oil changes are recommended every 3,000 to 5,000 miles, or every three to six months, whichever comes first. Bring in your car for our 20-point inspection regularly to determine when you might need one of our maintenance, major, high performance, or eco tune-ups.

Transmission fluid should be checked and changed regularly to avoid damage to your transmission. Stop-and-go driving, hauling heavy loads like boats and trailers, and driving mountain roads can heat up transmission oil and break it down.

If you notice fluid leaks, see small cracks in your belts, or hear strange noises in your engine, bring it in for our free 20-point inspection, where we can check all your systems for appropriate fluid levels, tighten and replace damaged belts, and more. We can also check your battery, heating and cooling systems, power steering unit, and more.

The sooner you notice a problem and bring it in, the more likely you will avoid a big, costly repair down the line.
